About the Contest
Looking for a fun way to teach your child how to be safe in the water while they have fun? Enter our coloring competition! Download the free coloring sheets of Jabari and his friends for your child and you may win a free download of ‘Jabari Makes A Splash!’ for your child. If your child’s drawing is selected, we will also send a free copy of the book directly to the preschool, school, library or daycare center of your choice. Why can’t we send the book to you? Simple - our main goal is to keep your child safe, which is why we will never ask for your address.

Official Rules
Who can enter? Any child between the ages of 1 and 5 are eligible.
Who chooses the winning entry? You! And your family and friends and neighbors - just direct them to the page and ask them to use the easy star system to pick their favorite drawing. In the event of a tie, Rebecca will choose the winner.
How often is there a winner? We’ll announce a winner every week and notify you by e-mail with a code for your free download and a request for the address of the institution you wish to have the book sent to.
How do I enter? Download the drawing and have your child color it in. Print your child’s first name and age on the drawing and then follow the easy instructions to upload the drawing to our site. If you have any questions or problems, just contact us at customerservice@jabariofthewater.com. Please note that we can post drawings with a child’s first name only - we want to keep your child safe.
How do you keep my child safe? Our web-site has been approved by TrustE. Please visit our privacy policy to learn more. When we receive a drawing, we will send an e-mail back confirming that the person who submitted the drawing is over 18 and the parent or legal guardian of the child. We will NEVER ask for your child’s last name, address, gender or any other identifying information, and when you submit the drawing you can even elect to have us delete your e-mail address once the contest is over.
How else can I use Jabari? We want Jabari to be the global face of water safety, a symbol that parents can trust and that children want to listen to and learn from. In order to ensure that this happens, we are very careful with how Jabari is used. To learn more, please look at our Terms of Service under the Restrictions on Use of Materials.

While we all want to see our children splashing around and enjoying themselves in the water, we want to know they’re safe. As a parent there are things you can do to help ensure this.
- Teach your children water safety.
- Teach your children to swim.
- Learn CPR.
But the most important thing you can do is always watch your children while they are in the water. Which is why our motto is:
Teach. Watch. Protect.
Our goal is to make it easier for you to keep your children safe in the water, so we’ve created the book “Jabari Makes a Splash.” This is the first in a series of books, DVDs and other ways Jabari will become synonymous with water safety. Just like Smokey Bear says, “Only you can prevent wildfires,” Jabari will empower you to help prevent water accidents. And the lessons he teaches will make being safe in the water second nature to your children - just as fastening a seatbelt is when getting into an automobile.
